This year I have been mostly writing funny songs.

Bitcoin – the Future of Money? (‘A great account. Read it!’ Sir Richard Branson) was the first book on bitcoin by a recognised publisher.  And my first book was Life After The State, (‘Extraordinary’, James Harding, director of BBC News; ‘Incredibly thought-provoking,’ Al Murray; ‘Brilliant,’ Steve Baker, MP).

I co-wrote and narrated the acclaimed documentary about the global financial crisis, Four Horsemen. 

I write a weekly investment column for Moneyweek, as well as occasional pieces for the Guardian, Aeon, Virgin, and the Independent.

I have also written and produced numerous short-films, pilots and silly videos – among which Debt Bomb became a viral hit.

An actor …
Recent appearances include  The In-Betweeners Movie and  the lead role in an Irish drama for TG4 about the life of political revolutionary, Erskine Childers. I also shot a comedy pilot, Frisby’s Greatest Ever, in which I perform 9 different roles.  This, made by Discovery, won an award a few years back.

I used to present Sky Comedy Close-Up, a movie review show on Sky Comedy. I host various podcasts. I used to MC boxing events for Hayemaker Boxing. And I compere comedy clubs all the time …

A voiceover …
Day-to-day I can be found trotting about the sound studios of London. I am one of the more prolific v-os in the UK, voicing many documentaries, ads, promos, trailers, cartoons and so on.

And a financial guru …
I’m often asked to speak at conferences, on TV and after dinner, which I very much enjoy doing, on matters financial and economic. I also host an occasional podcast on the same subject.

I am President and CEO of privacy investment company, Cypherpunk Holdings.
