I also think the future is decentralisation, a move away from centralisation. I don’t worry about lack of control, I think it’s a myth that centralised systems are better, because that’s the only way to have “real” control. decentralised control is just different (ask a starfish).
The reason I reckon we’re moving away from centralised is because it’s failed (or gone too far might be a better way put it) plus we now have the technology (the net, mobile phones and of course bitcoin) to do so.
AISI, the internet is the the new commons, don’t let those rent seekers rob us of this one.
