You're too good for Hollywood. If you want to get anywhere you will obviously have to dumb things down, er, a lot, and trim yourself into a successful rut. But seriously (!) this is very amusing. I almost choked on my own laughter. Trouble is it is so true it's almost off the scale of belief. Thanks for pointing out the almost too obvious to notice. And isn't it about time us English got our own back and make an upper class twit history of the wild west – or get a job lot of Nottingham street actors on the case. Or we could role out the same heavy weight versatile duffers: Blessed, Connery, and the one who said Bollocks. Good line that one. Bit one-dimensional, but worthy of being used some more.

[...] It certainly one to show the kids when they ask how money works, I still ask myself everyday when the sheer madness of it all will cease, Especially when you see people in high places offering to print more money to solve problems...LOL....delusional or what!
I wonder how Mr. Partridge would deal with today's market. It seems that another element -- at least as important as momentum or other conventional metrics -- is at work now. We're in an era of state capitalism, when profits so often turn on the ability to game the policies of governments. The political is the financial.
